The winery’s vineyards sit at 220 metres above sea level and include the following plantings – 20 hectares of Chardonnay, 38 hectares of Rhein Riesling, 2 ha of Temjanika and 25 ha of Cabernet Sauvignon. The Chateau Sopot vineyards are located on hills on the left side of the river Vardar, near the village of Sopot, at an altitude of 220 m above sea level. The location is ideal for production of quality wine grapes due to ideal rain fall, temperatures as well as benevolent winds and aeration. The average age of the plantings is 25-30 years and only the Temjanika vineyards are new plantings of almost 10 years old.
The rest of the needed grapes are purchased from the Tikves Wine District, near the town of Negotino, as well as from vineyards located in the locality Krnjevo, the Kozuf Mountain at an altitude of 550 m above sea level. It is important to mention that the winery controls the quality of the vineyards from where they purchase the grapes
